There has been much debate regarding vaccines, Mercury and Autism and which is more dangerous. But as a previously vaccinated adult, I began to wonder about all the new shots and what is in them?
My first concern always related to heavy metals Mercury in particular, is most concerning as I have already gone through Chelation for high levels. Mercury is a naturally occurring element, but the Mercury we encounter most comes in two different forms: Methylmercury and Ethylmercury.
Methylmercury – is a type of mercury, a metal that is liquid at room temperature. A nickname for mercury is quicksilver. Most compounds containing mercury are poisonous. Methylmercury is a very poisonous form of mercury. It forms when bacteria react with mercury in water, soil, or plants. Elemental and methylmercury are toxic to the central and peripheral nervous systems. The inhalation of mercury vapor can produce harmful effects on the nervous, digestive and immune systems, lungs and kidneys, and may be fatal. People are mainly exposed to methylmercury, an organic compound, when they eat fish and shellfish that contain the compound or in the water they drink.
Ethylmercury (Thimerosal) is a different chemical compound of Mercury used as antiseptic and antifungal agent. Eli Lilly, gave Thiomersal the trade name of Merthiolate. This compound has been used as a preservative in vaccines, immunoglobulin preparations, skin test antigens, antivenins, ophthalmic and nasal products and tattoo inks. This compound can be 5 times easier in Adults to be broken down by the body.
Vaccines for children since 2001 no longer contain Thimerosal. The thought of Thimerosal as a link to Autism has been disproved. Whether there are other active ingredients in vaccines that contribute to Autism, I will not speculate.

Methylmercury should be eliminated from our diet. This means the consumption of some fish and shellfish.
Inorganic mercury discharged from various contaminants flows into seas, rivers, lakes and streams, is converted to methylmercury by bacteria and plankton in water, is accumulated in pelagic organisms including fish and shellfish, and flows into humans through fish, shellfish and water intake by humans. When it is ingested into the human body, it combines with glutathione to make methylmercury-glutathione compound and is distributed to various tissues and organs through the blood vessels. It easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and placenta and is accumulated in the brain of fetuses more than in mothers.
As methylmercury is fat-friendly, it crosses the cell membrane very easily. The main excretion paths of methylmercury are known to be the bile and feces. Methylmercury is excreted in the bile, but a part of it is reabsorbed through enterohepatic cycling and flows to the liver. Rodents exposed to methylmercury chloride showed a higher incidence of kidney cancer.
As methylmercury begins with pollution and passes through water, our local water quality reports are required to document the levels in our water. We have, what is considered, acceptable levels of Mercury in our drinking water.
Is any Mercury acceptable in our drinking water? We do not believe so! This is one of the many contaminants that is removed with our Reverse Osmosis System. We strongly urge everyone (specially expecting mothers, infants, children and elderly people) to be drinking, cooking, food preparation and having their ice made with Reverse Osmosis water.
